Our Real Estate Practice
We handle all matters related to the sale or purchase of residential or commercial real estate, from the negotiation of terms to the closing. Once you have agreed upon the terms, we will review and prepare all documents necessary to complete the transaction, including buy-sell agreements, deeds, mortgages, land contracts, notes or other financing instruments, easements and restrictive covenants.
We will conduct a full title search on any property, to ensure that title passes free of any liens or encumbrances. We will also help you secure title insurance, so that your financial interest is protected if there is any irregularity with the title.
In addition to buyers and sellers, we also offer services to real estate lenders, handling foreclosure actions as well as collections. We will serve notice on the mortgagor, appear on your behalf at the foreclosure hearing, handle the sale of the property and ensure that you get the proceeds of the sale.
We also represent individuals and companies as plaintiffs or defendants in real estate litigation, handling claims involving easement, boundary line or title dispute, as well as partition actions and subdivision controversies.
