Justin Blake Hunter was born and raised in Duplin County in the town of Beulaville the son of two educators, Jerry and Judy Hunter. After attending East Duplin High School, Justin attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received the degrees of a Bachelor of Arts in History with Honors and a second major in Political Science. After graduating from Carolina in 2004, Justin earned the degree of Juris Doctor from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2007. After graduation, Justin worked as an associate with Hiram C. Bell, Jr. of the Bell Law Firm in Jacksonville until relocating back home to serve the people of Duplin County. Justin currently resides in Beulaville with his wife, Katy, and their daughter, Mary Blake.
